VAT Receives Confirmation Of Compliance With Equal Pay For Women And Men

VAT has received the Fair ON Pay+ certificate from SGS Société Générale de Surveillance for being compliant with the equal pay provisions of the Swiss Federal Act on Gender Equality.

SGS, an independent global inspection and certification company, recently completed an audit for VAT based on data for about 1’000 VAT employees in Switzerland. The Fair ON Pay+ certificate recognizes VAT as a fair employer and underlines its ongoing commitment to equal pay.

Fair ON Pay: Certification of equal pay

With Fair ON Pay, companies can use a standardized review process to check whether they are compliant with rules regarding equal pay for women and men according to Swiss federal requirements.

The certificate is valid for 4 years and requires a maintenance check to ensure that equal pay is maintained over time.
