VATLOCK

The locking procedure begins as soon as the spring stop reaches the wall of the housing. The ball cage presses the pairs of balls out of their detents. The gate seal is pressed smoothly onto the seat. VAT gate valves with the VATLOCK system are mechanically locked in closed position. The arrangement of the pairs of balls ensures that, when there is a difference in pressure, there is an increase in the sealing force in both directions.

MONOVAT

In the MONOVAT, the locking and sealing procedure is all one linear movement, enabled by a three-dimensional gate and seat. This elastomer-sealed sealing system for gate valves, developed and patented by VAT, distinguishes itself by particle- and shock-free operation throughout a really long life cycle.

VATTERFLY

At first sight, VATTERFLY valves could easily be mistaken for butterfly valves that just rotate. VATTERFLY valves are in fact a compact and economical alternative to gate valves. With VATTERFLY valves the turning movement of the gate happens first, without friction; then there is a separate pivoting movement using a patented crank mechanism.

VATRING

This all-metal seat-sealing system enables the attainment of great sealing forces using relatively slight closing or actuation force. For sealing materials, non-rusting steels are used, which in spite of their great sealing force are only elastically deformed. The VATRING system is suited for an extreme vacuum. In clean operating conditions, it has a long life of 100,000 cycles. It is also bakeable up to 450 °C, in both open and closed position.

VATSEAL

This metal flange seal, developed and patented by VAT, requires only parallel flanges with carefully prepared seal surfaces. Round, oval, rectangular or custom - the choice of shapes is completely open.
