Ihre Aufgaben

  • We are looking for a dedicated and versatile personality to complement our global marketing team. In the role as Global Trade Show and Marketing Event Manager

    In this role, you occupy a key position in global marketing of VAT. This means that together with your other team members you shape the future brand and market communication of VAT. We take teamwork seriously, discuss openly and support each other in our projects.
    This position requires about 25% travel.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Coordination of all VAT trade show and event participations worldwide
  • Design of event marketing concepts as key part of local and global VAT marketing strategies
  • Selection and evaluation of relevant events for defined VAT target markets
  • Design of concepts and strategies to utilize event marketing investments in broader scope by increasing pre and post communication (e.g. through direct marketing, social media, online ads, etc.)
  • Developing and track project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Align activities with business units in order to support their strategies and requirements
  • Align activities with sales organizations in order to shape activates to their local needs
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Measure event performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques and report on key performance metrics
  • Liaise with media, event organizers, advertising specialist
  • Collaborate with sales functions in all regions
  • Monitor industry best practices
  • Manage relationship with partners, suppliers and all stakeholders

Sie bringen mit

Experience and requirements:

  • 3+ years working experience in international trade show coordination
  • Management experience and the ability to manage international projects with external suppliers under strict time schedules
  • Experience in the B-to-B environment, ideally in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience in related marketing areas like direct marketing, campaigning, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, economy or related field, master's degree preferred
  • Fluent English skills written and spoken, good command of German is a plus
  • Open-minded and outgoing personality
  • Proactive and independent workstyle
